The Brazilian Cut
Directors from Brazil
The Brazilian Cut is an independent Baablon curation dedicated to Brazilian directors whose work we recognize for its authorial vision, cinematic power and ability to engage with the world. These are filmmakers we admire and who, in our view, represent part of the strength capable of expanding the presence of Brazilian stories, perspectives and cinema on the international stage.
The directors presented here have no professional, commercial or representation relationship with Baablon. We are not their agents, representatives or intermediaries, and professional contact with each of them must be made directly with the director or their representatives. Their presence on this platform means solely that we believe in their work and want to help make it better known in Brazil and around the world.
For Baablon, promoting these filmmakers is part of a voluntary commitment to the development of Brazilian cinema.
